I was born in the slums of La Jolla, CA. After being orphaned at 5-years-old I began working in a coal mine in order to support my family of 5 sisters and 3 brothers. After my elder sister, Janice, died from consumption, I went into a great depression that would leave me distraught for days on end. One day when I was 11, a saxophone fell out of the sky at my feet. I took this as a sign that I was destined for musical greatness. Within a few years I found out I was wrong. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do next...
